Kaban is Boracay's first hotel-casino, with 88 rooms, a 2,000 m² casino floor and seven dining concepts at Station 0, beside the upcoming Boracay Central mall. I took it from brand identity to the full website, desktop and mobile, and designed every page along the way. It opened in September 2026.

One resort, a dozen businesses and very different guests. Holidaymakers, first-time players, high rollers and overseas visitors each came looking for something else.
Built the brand, then a sitemap of six clear doors (Stay, Dine, Shop, Experience, Play and Deals) with booking, rewards and an interactive map always in reach.
Live with the soft opening on 16 September 2026, ahead of the grand launch on 11 October, as Boracay's first hotel-casino.
"How might we help guests who came for very different things, from a beach holiday to a first bet to VIP privacy, find their way before they book and once they arrive?"
Very different guests, one resort, and a front door that had to sort them fast.
Turn curiosity about Boracay’s first hotel-casino into stays, meals and visits.
When I’m planning a Boracay trip, I want rooms, food and things to do in one place, so I can book without juggling ten tabs.
When I’m curious about the casino but have never played, I want a safe way in, so I can try it without feeling out of place.
When I’m inside a resort I don’t know, I want to find the bar, ATM or concierge fast, so I don’t spend my holiday lost.
What I left out: room-size comparisons up front. Leading with the experience kept Kaban from being judged side by side with the beachfront chains.
Jobs framed from our research. Each arrow is a bet we designed and shipped.
An integrated resort is a small city. The website had to be its front door and its map.
Guests arrive with very different missions, and the resort spreads across hotel wings, a casino wing and rooftop bars, with the Boracay Central mall opening next door. The site had to sort people fast, sell the experience, and help them find their way once they're inside.
Organised by what guests came to do, not by how the business is run.
Two levels, never three. Language switching, login and search sit in the utility bar; chat support floats on every page.
"Where Stars Win": a star made of playing cards, carried into every screen.
Deep night purples for the casino, island blues for the resort, and gold for anything worth winning. Lexend Zetta's wide caps for headings, Gotham for reading.
The resort is a maze of wings, so the homepage carries an interactive map. Every zone opens a card showing where it is, its hours and its services, from the Sky Bar to the 24/7 concierge. Amenity icons mark ATMs, baby rooms, Wi-Fi and parking.
Each stay package opens with the guest it's for, like "You are a first-time visitor eager to try it all" or "You are a casual player looking for a fun getaway". Then come three perks and two buttons: Book now or Learn more. Guests pick themselves before they compare prices.

Responsible gaming sits right beside the casino in the Play menu and in every footer, instead of being buried in legal pages. Six plain-language tools, from limit setting to self-exclusion, then real helplines, ending on "Take control. Play responsibly."
A booking bar with check-in, check-out and guests sits under every hero, and Book now never leaves the navigation. Kaban Privilège ties it together: every game, meal, stay and purchase earns points, so the rewards page explains earn, play and redeem in three steps.

Kaban soft-opened on 16 September 2026 and holds its grand launch on 11 October, covered by GMA News, Philstar and Manila Bulletin as Boracay's first hotel-casino. The "Where Stars Win" identity and the five-card star travelled with it into the press.

When you can't win on location, you win on perception. And the website is where perception is formed.
Kaban is landlocked, set back from the beach and surrounded by Boracay's big hotel chains. Guests can't see the sea from it, so the decision to stay has to be made somewhere else: on a screen, before they ever arrive. Inspired by the playful luxury of brands like W Hotels, we leaned on what people feel, not just what they get.
Branding gets the first look. UX turns that look into trust, and trust into a stay.
